Urdu Academy’s December 20, 2009 literary evening was dedicated to the life and work of Nawab Mohammad Mustafa Khan Shaifta. The event, held at the Chandni Restaurant, Newark, CA, was presided over by Liaqat Ali, a business executive.

Arshad Rashid and Tashie Zaheer presented maqalas on the life and work of Shaifta.
The second session of the literary evening was dedicated on Prof. Manzoor Hussain Shor Alig.
